Over the sea to Skye

Take the Road to the Isles from Fort William to Mallaig (the A830).  The ferry from Mallaig to Armadale is a short ferry crossing of 30 minutes. During the main season (Easter to October) there are up to 8 sailings a day.  It is operated by Caledonian Macbrayne (Calmac). For reservations call 08705 650000 or visit the Calmac website – www.calmac.co.uk

When you arrive at Armadale drive for just 400 metres and then turn left into the village of Ardvasar. Drive for a further 800 metres and the hotel is located on the right hand side.

For those arriving by train and then using the ferry, we are happy to collect you from the Armadale Ferry Terminal.

Via the Skye Bridge

The Skye Bridge is now toll free. Access to the bridge is via Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland. After crossing the bridge, take the second exit off the roundabout, following the signs for Portree and Broadford. Follow this road (the A87) for approximately 5.5 miles and then turn left onto the A851. Follow the signs for Armadale and Ardvasar. After 15 miles you will have reached the village of Ardvasar where the hotel is located on the right hand side.
